In the past, ESWA has initiated and successfully completed several impactful projects, with a strong focus on supporting market women. These include the establishment of a free pre-school designed specifically to support the children of market women, enabling them to work while their children receive early education and childcare.
The current focus for ESWA is the economic empowerment of women through financial education workshops, with an emphasis on business mentoring, savings and micro lending.
Equipping women with essential financial knowledge and access to funding, ESWA is actively preparing to become a microfinance bank. This initiative will enable ESWA to provide direct financial support, helping women start and grow their businesses, achieve financial independence, and contribute to sustainable economic development within their communities.
